This year, the Fiesta is bringing balloons to the city. In the lead up to the main event, from Monday 5 August to Thursday 8 August fleets of hot air balloons will pop up in communities across the city in a series of local launches, weather permitting.
What’s more – it’s up to Bristol residents to say where they want to see balloons take off, and who they want to fly in them!
A nomination form will go live on this website in the coming weeks. The form will give you the opportunity to suggest a community location for the local launches and tell us why that space is important to you and your neighbourhood. You will also have the opportunity to nominate a local hero to fly in one of the balloons, in recognition of the difference they make to the lives of others.
