Ashton Court is situated to the south-west of Bristol city centre. Directions to the car parks are signposted from all routes into the fiesta and can be found on your print at home ticket. All Car Park tickets must be purchased in advance and are single entry only. Tickets are non-refundable even in cases where the balloons do not fly, or inflate.
Bristol opperates a clean air zone. This may affect your journey to the Balloon Fiesta. For more information please visit the Bristol Clean Air Zone website here.
There are various road closures in place around Ashton Court Estate during the event so please follow the traffic signs, even if you feel you are headed away from your destination. This ensures we can keep the traffic moving and also get everyone home the fastest way possible.
Our closest parking option via the Orange Gate is the fastest access to our launch field. A Disabled Blue Badge Parking Permit will be required to park within this area and the permit holder must also be present.
The car park opens at 5am and last entry is STRICTLY 5pm. All Car Park tickets are single entry only and non-refundable even in cases where the balloons do not fly, or inflate. Tickets must be purchased in advance, no tickets are available on the gate
Entrance: via the B3128, Orange Gate
From the North: M5 Junction 19, take the A369 towards Bristol City Centre and then follow the
event signs.
From the South: M5 Junction 21, take the A370 towards Bristol and then follow the event signs.
Travel Advice: Do not attempt to travel through Bristol City Centre.
Our closest parking option via Blue Gate (Gate 4) is situated adjacent to the fiesta site and requires a short walk to the arena. This car park opens at 5am for the morning launch, and stays open all day.

From the North: M5 Junction 19, take the A369 towards Bristol City Centre and then follow the event signs.
From the South: M5 Junction 21, take the A370 towards Bristol and then follow the event signs.
Travel Advice: Do not attempt to travel through Bristol City Centre.
Our main public car park with access is via Red Gate. There is a walk down the hill to the main fiesta site. This car park will not open until 10am, and therefore if you are planning on attending the morning launches you will need to buy a ticket for the Blue Car Park.
