TICKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions relate to tickets issued for events presented by Bristol Balloon Fiesta and form part of the contractual agreement between ticket holders and Bristol Balloon Fiesta. 

The ticketing conditions must be read in accordance with the terms, conditions and regulations of Bristol Balloon Fiesta, copies of which are available on request. The ticketing terms and conditions may be changed at the organisers’ discretion.

Parking and shuttle bus tickets are sold by Bristol Beacon on behalf of the event organiser Bristol Balloon Fiesta. 

Bristol Beacon and Bristol Balloon Fiesta endeavour to treat all ticket holders with respect and care, ensuring their safety and security whilst attending an event. Your compliance with the following conditions will assist us in doing so.

Please examine your tickets carefully upon receipt as mistakes cannot be rectified, tickets exchanged or monies refunded at a later date. 

Ticket prices and fees

The Fiesta is free and unticketed, which is a key part of the ethos of the event. It’s accessible to all! If you would like to bring a car to the fiesta you will need a car parking ticket.

Bristol Beacon sells tickets for parking and shuttle busses to Bristol Balloon Fiesta. 

Bristol Balloon Fiesta decide the face value price of the tickets and when a ticket is sold Bristol Beacon pay Bristol Balloon Fiesta the money collected from the sale of that ticket. 

Bristol Beacon collect a booking fee when a ticket is sold and the money from this is retained by Bristol Beacon. 

All prices advertised are inclusive of any applicable taxes and booking fees.

Fees explained

Face Value Price
The ticket face value price that is set by Bristol Balloon Fiesta. The price printed on the ticket will not include any fees. 

Booking Fee
Bristol Beacon collect a booking fee at 6% of the face value of the ticket. 

Sale of Tickets

Tickets you purchase are for personal use.

Should this ticket be re-sold at a higher price than face value, or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than a nominated ticket agent it will become void and the holder may be refused entry to, or ejected from the venue. Bristol Balloon Fiesta, or Bristol Beacon acting on behalf of Bristol Balloon Fiesta, have the right to cancel tickets that have been resold at a higher price without prior notification. 

Refunds

Parking tickets or shuttle bus tickets cannot be exchanged nor money refunded, regardless of changes to the programme and weather.

Parking tickets, shuttle bus tickets, sky lounge tickets and booking fees are non-refundable. Tickets cannot be exchanged nor money refunded, regardless of changes to the programme and weather.

Data protection

Bristol Beacon sell tickets on behalf of Bristol Balloon Fiesta. Once you have booked tickets your name, address, email address and phone number will be held and processed by Bristol Beacon on their box office and marketing databases. 

All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. No information is passed to a third party and is dealt with in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. This transaction is governed by the law of England and Wales and the parties to the contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

If you’ve given your consent when purchasing tickets we may contact you by post, telephone or email with information or offers regarding future Bristol Balloon Fiesta events.

We also analyse this information to improve our understanding of you and our customer base in general. We do this so that we can make better decisions about our services, advertising, products and content, based on a more informed picture of how our customers use our current services, and to provide you with a more customised experience.

Depending on your marketing preferences, we may use this information to help us to determine which offers, information, discounts and promotions you would most like to receive.

We may from time to time use your data for profiling, targeting and research purposes so that our communications to you are as appropriate and cost effective as possible.

If you have opted out of marketing communications, we may still get in touch with you. For example we may email you to give you important information about the events you’ve booked or to tell you about any changes.

Bristol Beacon is run by Bristol Music Trust, a registered charity (no.1140898), and booking fees raised from ticket sales go towards facilitating a broad range of projects and education work. 

Parking Admission

The management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury or nuisance, annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the management.

The management reserves the right to refuse admission to any person not in possession of a ticket or the retained portion of the ticket or is in possession of an invalid ticket.

Losses, liabilities and damages

The ticket holder agrees to indemnify Bristol International Balloon Fiesta Ltd against any claim, losses, liabilities, damages and/or expenses inclusive of potential legal fees, arising from your use of this site and the event itself.

You park in the Bristol Balloon Fiesta car park at your own risk. We do not guarantee the security of your vehicle and/or its contents. 

We are liable for: 

(i) any death or personal injury arising from our negligence and the negligence of our servants or agents;

(ii) loss of or damage to or theft of or from, or temporary failure to deliver any vehicle or property belonging to you arising from our negligence and the negligence or dishonesty of our servants or agents. 

We accept no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused unless proved to be caused by our negligence. We accept no liability for any indirect loss as a result of damage or loss to your vehicle and/or its contents (such as loss of earnings).
