our 2024 charity partner: love squared

For ten years, Love Squared has been making a real difference in Bristol, transforming the lives of children and young people impacted by mental health challenges and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Their mission? To improve mental health, cut down on social isolation, and help kids thrive in education. Through imaginative programmes and dedicated case management, Love Squared is creating brighter futures for children and young people across the city.

This year, they’re the official charity partner of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. It's a fantastic opportunity to showcase their work and engage with the local community in a fun, festive environment.

At the Fiesta, make sure to swing by their vibrant tent for a host of exciting activities. They’ve got fun kids' activities lined up, a fiesta postcard stand,  the classic teddy tombola—and there is  even a chance to win a hot air balloon ride! It's a great chance to learn more about their work while enjoying the festivities.

Their friendly team will be on hand to chat with visitors, share more about their mission, and accept donations. They’re always eager to connect with the city, and the Fiesta is the perfect place to do just that.

Love Squared is also introducing the ‘Love Squad,’ their incredible team of volunteers who are passionate about making a difference. They’re welcoming new members, so if you’re looking to get involved in something meaningful, come and find out more. Volunteering with Love Squared is a rewarding way to give back to the community and support a fantastic cause.
